Pitshanger covers the north-western corner of Ealing, a quiet Edwardian garden suburb with Pitshanger Lane as its spine and the River Brent valley at its western edge. The character is leafy, stable and residential, without any of the through-traffic of the Uxbridge Road wards. Green space is the main strength: forty-seven hectares anchored by the seventeen-hectare Pitshanger Park, with the Brent River Park corridor running beyond. Thirty Ofsted-outstanding schools are within reach — very strong — and safety sits above the London middle.
