Terms of Service

WAYB provides ward-level neighbourhood data about London. Scores describe areas, not individual properties, streets, schools, or personal circumstances. WAYB is not a property-specific advisory service: a score tells you about a ward, never about a particular address or listing.

Nothing on WAYB is financial, legal, investment, mortgage, surveying, tax, planning, school-admissions, safety, or estate-agent advice. You remain responsible for checking any property, commute, school, planning matter or neighbourhood before acting.

WAYB uses public data from bodies including HM Land Registry, Ofsted, the Office for National Statistics, Transport for London, the Greater London Authority and OpenStreetMap contributors. Those bodies do not endorse WAYB, and source data can be delayed, incomplete, corrected or interpreted differently.

The Day Pass (£4.99, valid for 24 hours from purchase) unlocks eligible paid features for one day. WAYB+ (£6.99 per month) provides ongoing subscription access for as long as the subscription remains active and renews monthly until cancelled. Prices are in GBP and include any applicable tax. Payments are processed by Stripe; WAYB does not store your card details. Access is delivered through a confirmation email and remembered in the browser you bought from — keep that email so you can restore access on another device. If the email fails to arrive, contact hello@whereareyoubased.com.

Paid access is digital content you can start using immediately. A WAYB+ subscription can be cancelled at any time to stop future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations you may have a 14-day right to cancel digital content that has not yet been fully supplied. We handle cancellation and refund requests fairly and in line with your statutory rights: if a purchase did not unlock, was charged in error, or you change your mind shortly after buying, email your Stripe receipt or checkout reference to hello@whereareyoubased.com and we will put it right. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

WAYB is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WAYB and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its scores — including any property, financial or other decision you make. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

You may not scrape, bulk-extract, redistribute, resell, or re-license WAYB content, paid outputs, or underlying source data through WAYB. Use the original public datasets if you need raw data rights.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version; continuing to use WAYB after a change means you accept the updated terms.
