Osterley & Spring Grove covers the east of Hounslow, a ward whose character is defined by the Grade I Osterley House — a sixteenth-century mansion remodelled by Robert Adam between 1761 and 1780 for the Child banking family — set in 63-hectare Osterley Park now run by the National Trust. Thirty-two listed buildings in total include Grade I entries for the stables and the Temple in the park. Conservation area cover reaches 57%, and total green space is 122 hectares. Ten outstanding-rated schools fall within the catchment, and the Piccadilly line at Osterley puts central London within forty minutes.
