Notting Dale sits in the west of Kensington and Chelsea between Latimer Road and Holland Park Avenue, a ward whose character is shaped by the social mix and by the aftermath of the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire. The whole ward falls inside a conservation area, and the fifteen listed buildings include the Grade II* Church of St Francis of Assisi, the Grade II Harrow Club, and the Grade II pottery kiln — a survivor of the area's nineteenth-century brickmaking past.
